We are deeply saddened to learn of the death of Senator Lindsey Graham, a leading member of the United States Senate for many years. Graham, who played an influential role in American politics in the fields of foreign policy, security and international relations, will be remembered worldwide as one of the defenders of freedom, democratic values ​​and human dignity.

Throughout his political life, Senator Graham has not remained indifferent to the threats faced by the Kurdish people and has taken important initiatives and efforts to defend the security, freedom and legitimate national rights of the Kurds. He stood behind the support of Peshmerga and Syrian Democratic Forces, who are fighting with great sacrifices to defend the democratic values ​​of the modern world against ISIS terrorism; He worked in the American Congress to provide direct aid to the Kurdish Security Forces, to protect Kurdish allies against possible threats, and to impose sanctions on individuals, groups of institutions and administrations responsible for attacks against the Kurdish People and forces.
