TO THE PUBLIC
As Yekîtiya Dewleta Kurdistan, we take seriously the concerns expressed by Kurdish youth in Greek prisons regarding detention, detention, prison conditions and the possibility of extradition to Turkey.

As Yekîtiya Dewleta Kurdistan, we seriously follow the concerns expressed by Kurdish youth in Greek prisons regarding detention, detention, prison conditions and the possibility of being extradited to Turkey. Allegations of rights violations are investigated by independent legal and human rights institutions; We demand that all judicial and extradition processes be carried out in a transparent, fair and individual manner, taking into account the special conditions of each person and evaluating them individually within the scope of human rights and freedoms. We state that the rights of every person who has sought asylum should be implemented in a way that protects human dignity, taking into account the principles of universal law.

No asylum seeker or refugee can be sent to a country where he or she may face the risk of persecution, ill-treatment or lack of a fair trial because of his or her political opinion or identity. This is a crime and a serious violation of human rights. Requires the Greek authorities to fully comply with international law, human rights conventions and the principle of non-refoulement; We call on human rights defenders and legal institutions to closely monitor the situation of Kurdish youth in prison. We declare to the public that we are in solidarity with the legitimate demands of Kurdish youth to protect their fundamental rights and human dignity.
